The testing procedure for flame engulfment experiment is as follows:
.A dummy model simulating normal wearing of an air respirator, with the ventilator set at 25 cycles per minute and a flow rate of 2L per breath.
.The air respirator worn on the dummy model is placed inside a preheated heater at 90±5℃, and the door is closed.
.After 15±1 minutes in the heater, the dummy model is placed at the center of the burner: Note: The distance from the burner is 250mm, flame temperature is 950±50℃, and the distance between two burners is 680mm.
.After being removed from the heater for 30±5 seconds, a 10-second flame engulfment experiment is completed.
.After completing the flame engulfment experiment for 20±5 seconds, the dummy, along with the connected air respirator, is raised to a free-fall height of 150±5 millimeters.
.The product does not ignite, or if ignition occurs, it does not continue for more than 5 seconds, the face mask does not detach, and the entire test has an acceptable breathing resistance throughout.
